Capri:

  • Capri's hips and elbows we X-rayed summer -04, when Capri was 18 months old. The vet said that the results were due to lose hips because of her age. He suggested that we should X-ray them again at a later age. D/D 0/0

  • Capri's heart was tested (ultra sound) before we decided to use her for breeding. Luckily for everyone, the heart was healthy in every way. The heart was re-tested in spring -08 before the next litter to make sure no abnormalities are present. The heart was in as good condition as when she was tested almost three years ago.

  • The cystinuria test we took in winter -04. We had the vet send the blood to Germany to a laboratory which tested it. The result was free! We were extremely happy to hear that! Because Capri's parents hadn't been tested, she could have also been sick!

  • After Capri's first rabies vaccination she didn't get enough antibodies for us to go through Sweden to Finland. Luckily after her second rabies vaccination she got the necessary antibodies and we were able to travel through Sweden.

  • Capri's heart was clear (doppler) late January 2008!

Vera:

  • We took the cystinuria test from Vera early in January -06. Luckily she, too, was cystinura free! (the other option would have been carrier like her dad)

  • We also took the rabies antibody test. It was over the necessary limit: a nice very nice surprise.

  • Vera's hips D/D and elbows 0/0.

  • Vera's heart was clear (doppler) in early February 2008!
