DD= normal coloured newfoundland that doens't have the dillution gene.

Dd= normal coloured dog that has the dillution gene     

dd= diluted colour, colour also affected by B-gene                      

BBdd grey colored newfoundland ("diluted black")

Bbdd grey colored newfoundland ("diluted black")

bbdd beige, isabella, sand coloured ("diluted brown")

 

In newfoundlands the "diluted black" colour is called grey, in other breeds, for example in dobermanns and great danes the colour is known as blue.
